The handmade leaf buttons on this card were so much fun to make, but a lot of work! First I made a background on the shrink film using different fall colors of alchol inks. I then stamped the image (from Stampin' Up!) onto the background and cut them out around the outline of the leaves. I also punched holes that could be used as buttonholes before I shrunk the plastic. After sewing them onto the strip of cardstock I also added a few handstitching details. Finally, I stamped "For someone special" on a strip of of the patterned paper used on the card and attached it using foam adhesive squares for added dimension.
